NSW Ambulance Service - Ford

The very popular Ford F Series was once very common for Ambulance work. However, alternatives have been found and the once common sight in the city can only be seen either in the country or when decommissioned and unmarked. If anyone knows exactly where I can find one in service, email me (erk@erk.au.com). To give you idea about what they did look like, here's a photo or two.

This former ambulance was spotted in South Penrith, August 2001. The location of former markings and a front grille strobe light can be plainly seen. What can't be seen in this photo are the NSWAS mudflaps still fitted!
These Paramedical Services Ambulances were spotted at Eastern Creek Raceway, May 2001.
