NSW Ambulance Service - Rescue

In certain areas of Sydney, the NSW Ambulance Service is the primary provider of rescue. However, there were plans announced to disband Ambulance Rescue and have the NSW Fire Brigade take over the rescue role.

Rescue 907 at a service station at Greenacre, January 2002. I was not looking for this truck but was on the way to Bankstown Airport to photograph Elvis the Helitanker in conjunction with bushfires in NSW at the time.

If anyone has any specifics about the following two vehicles and their roles, please email me - erk@erk.au.com

Former water Ambulance (I think) at Sydney Water Police HQ, October 2001.
4WD at Picton Ambulance station, January 2002.
